During the 26th International Postal Stamp Exhibition, a wonderful collection was presented by Richard Hermit from Redditch. His collection included a priceless series of the Mauritius stamps arousing enormous envy in other collectors. There was only one stamp missing which specialists consider impossible to find. The purple Mauritius is commonly regarded as lost. Mr Hermit announced his will of exchanging all his Mauritius stamps for this very one in the exhibition newspaper. However, so far his offer has gone unheard.
